Upon graduation, I began practicing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Social Work with a focus on children diagnosed with developmental disabilities and counseling parents in relationship as well as marriage issues. As both a Social Worker and Behavior Analyst, I offer a multi-facetted approach that works with the entire family. I offers therapy services for a wide array of diagnoses, but not limited to, the following:
I have a primary interest in helping the entire family. Most ABA providers focus only on the child, and Social Workers focus on the family in whole. I will work with each member of the family both individually and as a whole family. It is through the whole family approach a family can be empowered with the ability to provide the care for their child and family outside of therapy. I am a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International, Association for Behavior Analysis – South Carolina Chapter, Association for Professional Behavior Analysis, National Association of Social Workers, and National Association of Social Workers – South Carolina Chapter. I strive to provide evidence based practice by attending national conferences as well as local workshops on the advancement of both the ABA and Social Work fields. I am an advocate for my clients and is dedication to providing optimal, individualized treatment approaches for each client and family. I provide in-home services throughout the Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties. |
