My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Addiction, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, and I am currently learning more about Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Program for couples therapy. 

I am fluent in Spanish and English.

Previously, I have worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in several settings including schools and in-home, severe behavior, and behavioral skills caregiver training. I earned my BA in Psychology from Eastern Washington University and my MA in Psychology from The Citadel with a focus on clinical counseling. In addition to my clinical experience, I am very excited to provide services to the growing Latinx population in Charleston!

I specialize in working with children and/or adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities and their families. I also have experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, PTSD, as well as substance use disorder. It is my perspective that therapy is somewhat of a team sport; my role as your therapist is to trust you as the expert of your experience as I help guide you through the therapeutic journey to empowerment and healing.
